Plan
Now that I've decided that I will make Datakeeper using PHP and MySQL, I need to learn more about using these tools. For this iteration I'd like to create a more advanced PHP page which interacts with MySQL. I've never used MySQL before, so I plan to spend much of this iteration familiarizing myself with it, as well as becoming more proficient with PHP.

Design
I hope to make a test PHP page in which you can create a new account, enter your data, log on using an encrypted password, and generate a form displaying the data that you choose.
| |
Coding
By the end of this iteration I should have several test pages in which a database is accessed via a webpage. Look for these pages (as well as links to their source code) here. My programs will be written using a combination of PHP, MySQL and HTML. I have bought a book on PHP which will hopefully be of use.

Testing
When I have finished my test pages, I'll enter in the data of several imaginary students, then see if I can log on as each and generate a form displaying my data. If I can properly log on using each student's password and if the forms display correctly, I'll know the coding was successful.

Possible "Deployment"
By the end of this iteration an incremental release may be feasible- though Datakeeper will not yet have email or printable capabilities, students will be able to create accounts, log on and manipulate their data.

Users
Since this is a product designed primarily for highschool students, I have asked several of my fellow students to help me test Datakeeper out. If they like it, perhaps I'll attempt to introduce it in a business setting.
