03/05/03: Current Project Status Version 3.1

Wow, a daily log name that's actually not inane...okay, I just ruined that, didn't I?  Moving on...

So far, this project contains a museum building that a user can move around in.  The environment is almost in its final form as far as wall placement is concerned; however, the Technological Innovations wing is still incomplete because it has not yet been divided up into sections.  A visitor to the virtual museum can navigate around in it, but there is not yet collision-detection in place, so he or she can still walk through walls.

There is a mouse routine in place that allows the user to click on museum exhibits and open an Internet browser.  But there are not yet any exhibits in the museum as a way to automatically place them in their appropriate rooms has not yet been coded.  There is an exhibits section in the website, however, which contains three exhibits.  These exhibit pages contain the video file as well as a small plaque that explains the significance of the video clip.  Finally, there are four more video files that exist but still need to be added

Well, now that that's done, I can finally work on coding my program...first time in two months! =) Oh, shoot.  I still have to start a new progress report.  Blargh!  I am never going to get to work on this project again!
