11/22/02: A Map!Well, I don't actually have it at this moment in time, but I'm working on categorizing it. so far I've got War (the obvious), Technological Innovations (aka inventions), The Arts, and Social Eras. Social Eras is the only title I'm iffy on. What I mean is the eras in that America has gone through: the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, the Hippie Era, etc. I don't really want to call them The Decades, but I don't really like Social Eras that much either. Ah well, it's all superficial, anyway. Back to what matters, this is basically how everything will fall (The things with (?)'s next to them are subjects that overlap. Maybe I'll figure out a way to connect the different corridors.):
Well, that's the basic layout, now I've got to figure out a way to organize the museum so that the things that overlap are accessible to each other. I'll do it on paper here in the lab, but I won't be able to get the blueprints on this site until I can go home and fuss around on Adobe, so don't expect a map 'til Monday. Quickly switching topics--You remember the last daily log where I had that whole nice table with programs which held possible primary source videos? I kept on forgetting to tape them. It's really pathetic too because I remember when it's too late, kick myself, tell myself that I won't forget the next one, and then forget the next one. Oy. I will tape the next one! Here's an updated list of what's good:
Next program is tomorrow at 7:30 in the morning--watch me not forget!
