Code and Developments
I spent much of this quarter actually constructing the canvas and making the buttons. I also added lots of little infrastructure items, such as fixing the resizing options and making the code more difficult, but better for later when I start adding lots of button functions.
Research Elements (The Scientific Method)
As I am doing a 'Product Based' project, much of the research involved in my project happened last quarter or early in this quarter. The Scientific Method aspect of my project involved developing a procedure for testing my product. I will have new users try a task and then I will time them. As a control group, I will give instructions to that group and then time them doing the same task.

The white part is the canvas, and the gray area is the toolbar. Later I will add more buttons to the toolbar to expand the amount of functions available.
