Problem/Purpose

See research topics and project proposal.

Hypothesis
An online automatic form-filler will save time and effort for students and businesspeople. A working version of Datakeeper will make life easier by reducing the amount of repetitive forms needed to be completed and the number of redundant papers in file cabinets.

Procedure
See code: log in, view data, edit data, create new account, send a form, log out.
| |
Materials
Mainly Nedit, a text editing program. Coding languages used include HTML, MySQL and PHP.

Observations/Data/Results
My project in action can be seen here. Results of its effectiveness will be determined once it gets a team of test users, probably TJ students, possibly via the student intranet.

Analysis
Datakeeper seems to be achieving its purpose so far. I've used it myself, and it's a lot easier to type in your information a single time and hit "email" for every teacher than to write out the facts by hand over and over. Potential problems: will teachers accept emailed forms? Also, more data needs to be included, since most forms ask for more than just the few facts I have so far.

Conclusion
It works. Yay. The next direction I'm planning on expanding is in creating printable forms. This way administrative acceptance of Datakeeper-generated forms should no longer be an issue.
