Publications Submission Deadline for TEKNOS is Feb. 17, 2006
Assignment - Submit your research paper to me as a "pseudo" submission to TEKNOS. Maybe this can become an actual submission for some of you.
I realize your project is not complete at this point, but this will be a good means to specifically summarize where you're at.
- Your name: __________________________________, Period: _____
- Attach a copy of your research paper so far. The paper needs a beginning, middle, and end. Also you should have some kind of visuals - diagram(s), chart(s), test result(s), and ways to communicate your information visually.
- Beginning
- Title, author, date
- Abstract - a paragraph succinctly describing the entire project, it's goals, methods, and (expected) results.
- Introduction and Background of the project. Introduction introduces your project in more detail than the Abstract. Background provides an overview of information giving further understanding of your project to the reader. This can include other research projects in your area.
- Middle
- Development section(s). Write about the actual work you have done. Describe methods you are using and how you are testing and evaluating your methods. You must have some metrics to determine whether what you're doing is working sufficiently, and means to help you figure out areas for improvement and further development.
- End
- Write about what you have concluded so far. What are areas for more development. What have you learned. If possible, think about ways in which others may benefit from what you're learning.
- Visuals You should have some kind of diagram(s), chart(s), test result(s), or other ways to communicate your information visually.
