Earl Sommerville's Garden
And His Native Azaleas

by Don Hyatt

Earl Sommerville sent me some pictures from his lovely garden, a spectacular setting filled with rhododendrons and native azaleas located near Atlanta, Georgia. I have seen it in bloom myself, and it is truly one of the finest gardens in the Eastern United States. Here are a few pictures of his garden, and then several of his numbered selections of native azaleas. Enjoy!
